1. Who we are
Bud is operated by Zedsio Inc. References to “Bud,” “we,” “us,” or “our” in this document mean Zedsio Inc.
2. What Bud is
Bud is an information tool that reads ingredient text on food packaging and compares it to a profile you provide. Bud is not a medical device, not a substitute for professional medical advice, and not a diagnostic system. Always verify the physical package and consult a qualified healthcare professional for any medical decision.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use Bud. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Bud to: violate any law; infringe on the rights of others; attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours; reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the service except as permitted by law; or interfere with the operation of the service.
5. Beta access and changes to the service
Bud is currently offered in beta and pre-release form. Features may change, be added, or be removed at any time. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service in whole or in part with reasonable notice where practical.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
Bud is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zedsio Inc. disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Verdicts produced by Bud are based on declared ingredients on the label and are informational only.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zedsio Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of Bud. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid Zedsio Inc. in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100), whichever is greater.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, send you an email or in-product notice. Continued use of the service after a revision means you accept the revised terms.
